New to SciFinder-UW holdings have now been connected to SciFinder Scholar and Chemport. As with may other databases, such as Web of Science, when you will be linked directly through to the article if the Libraies has an electronic subscription for that title. If we do not, you will be connected to the online catalog and to ILL for more options. Ask at the desk if you have questions
Project Prospect introduces structure search capability. Try PP to search enhanced Royal Society of Chemistry articles. I am also pleased to announce that Leslie Maw of the RSC will be on campus in June to talk more about Project Prospect. She will be speaking June 13 at 2pm in the Allen Auditorium. SFS2007 has been released and it is ready for you to download. Click here to see highlights for the new version. It is already accessible by those using UW Library public machines. Both PC and Mac versions are available. Go to https://www.lib.washington.edu/restricted/uwnetid/chemistry/scifinder/ to download. A UWNETID is now required to download the client. We are aware that there may be issues with the Mac client. Please let us know if you have difficulties setting it up.Update-There is a workaround for Leopard (OS 10.5) now Click here for details!
