Special Collections & Services
- Plays appearing in anthologies, collections and periodicals. Entries are filed in the card catalogue by title. Items with call numbers, including Acting Editions, are found in the stacks.
- Sound effects on CDs, cassette and reel to reel tape. Sound effects indexing frequently includes: sound, length in minutes and/or seconds, and brief description. BBC and CBS sound effects on reel to reel tape circulate for one week. CD sound effects from Sound Ideas are library use only.
Search online for sound effects currently held in the Drama Library
- Dialect tapes by geographic area. Dialect material may include both printed manual and cassette tape. Dialect tapes circulate for one week. See drawer 36 in the card catalogue.
- Clippings & Poster Files displayed during run of the show then placed in scrapbook
- Local audition and job notices are posted on a bulletin board. Serials providing job listings are on reserve. Some journals dealing with jobs are now available online.
- Templates or style wheels
- Historic Patterns: full-scale or reduced
- Lighting Gels: identify number of each
