AMS (MathSciNet)

1. Conduct a search and select the citations you want to export by clicking the Clipboard link beneath the article citation.
   
   
2. Click the Clipboard button in the bar at the top of the page to review your saved citations.
   
   
3. From the Select format drop-down menu, choose Citations (BibTeX) and then click SaveClip.
   
   
4. Use your browser's Save As function to save a copy of the resulting webpage to your computer in the plain text (.txt) file format.
   
   
In RefWorks:


5. Log in to RefWorks if you have not already done so.
   
   
6. In the toolbar at the top of the page, click on the References menu and select Import.
   
   
7. On the Import page, select BibTeX from the Import Filter/Data Source drop-down menu.
   
   
8. Use the Database drop-down menu to select MathSciNet (AMS) (BibTeX format).
   
   
9. Select the option to Import Data from the following Text File.
   
   
10. Click the Browse button to select the file you downloaded and saved to your computer in the previous steps.
    
    
11. Click the Import button.
    
    
12. Your records will appear in the Last Imported Folder.
