Non-peer reviewed papers, very current, free.


The physics and astronomy communities have been pioneers in the use of the Web for sharing pre-publication papers. E-print services bypass the traditional publishing environment by posting papers on the Web prior to journal acceptance and formal peer review. The advantages to e-print services are: current research is available for anyone as soon as it is submitted to the Web site; access is free worldwide; authors maintain rights to their intellectual property.
