Dear all,
The Association des Amis du Vieux Hue was initially founded in 1913 and began anew in 1996 thanks to Jean COUSSO. The new association aims to protect and to share the Albert Sallet’s holdings respecting the Amis du Vieux Hue’s wish, which was “to provide to the next generations the most authentic vision of the Vietnam in the past.”
The new Association des Amis du Vieux Hue completes several interesting projects such as a CD-ROM of complete reprint of the “Bulletin des Amis du Vieux Hue 1914-1944” in collaboration with the Ecole Francaise d'Extreme Orient, Hanoi, and a new CD-ROM of 5000 pictures ”Mandarins, Marsouins, Missionnaires et Colons”.
The web site of the Association des Amis du Vieux Hue can be found at http://www.aavh.org/, in French version for the moment but English should be supported soon.
