The Hanoi Statistical Office (HSO) is an affiliate of the General Statistical Office (GSO), VN. We take the responsibility for the statistical information for the Hanoi City, the second largest economic activity region and the capital of Vietnam. Founded since 1954, we are pound of our contribution to the practical statistics for our country. Our statistic information is officially used in local governmental bodies and local Party, in socio-economic development planning and implementing and assessing

ii) Socio- economic reports for the Hanoi City (monthly prepared with
6-11 page length of the main content and 7-12 page length of the statistical
appendix);
iii) largest databases of various socio-economic aspects;
iv) Results of specialized and periodically survey
and v) Best services on the surveys and census on demand in collaboration
with researchers, development assistance institution, NGOs and GOs.

i) Promoting the use of statistical information in various research
fields and expanding statistical information dissemination to the public;
ii) Strengthening the collaboration which would bring mutual benefits
to both parties, HSO and users

i) Hanoi Statistical Yearbook have been providing with price VND80 000;
ii) Socio- economic reports for the Hanoi City (monthly prepared with
6-11 page length of the main content and 7-12 page length of the statistical
appendix) have been used internally. But now we are ready to provide
it to the public with some cost and without charge, depend on the users;
iii) Various socio-economic databases; results of specialized and periodically
survey; and services on demand in collaboration with researchers, development
assistance institution, NGOs and GOs with minimum cost.
