Yale Workshop on Vietnamese Studies
The Council on Southeast Asian Studies at Yale University and the Yale
Vietnamese Studies Group are pleased to announce a workshop with Peter
Zinoman, Professor of History at the University of California at Berkeley,
to be held on Friday, April 23 from 12:00pm-5:00pm followed
by dinner. The workshop will focus on new directions in the field of
Vietnamese Studies, and will consist of a lecture given by Dr. Zinoman
followed by a seminar, in which participants will discuss assigned readings
and precises of each other's research interests. Graduate
students interested in participating in the seminar may contact either

submit a two-page statement of your research interests no later than
Friday, April 9. No financial assistance for travel or other expenses
is available, but lodging may be able to be arranged.
