Filmmaker Dang Nhat Minh wrote about Dang Van Ngu, his father, in his autobiography - Hoi Ky Dien Anh, Nha Xuat Ban Van Nghe/Phuong Nam, 2005.
He talks about Dang Van Ngu a lot and seems to have found people in Japan who knew his father.
Tap Chi Y Hoc Co Truyen, Nhan Dan, etc. have ran articles about him.
