Lecturer in the History of South East Asia DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY
?27,333 ­ ?40,582 p.a. inclusive of London Allowance Vacancy No: 100247

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the History of South
East Asia in the Department of History.
Candidates need to demonstrate an internationally recognised research
record supported by high-quality publications, which would maintain the
Department's high standing in the Research Assessment Exercise. The ability
to carry out research in at least one of the languages of the region is
required. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to teaching
at both BA and MA levels, for all periods, and to supervise research
students working on the history of South East Asia. The ability to teach
the history of all periods is required.
