Subject: please help!

Hello all,

I'm currently working on a masters thesis on Sino-US-Vietnam relations from 1973 to present. I was wondering if anyone knew of any sources (Vietnamese origin if possible) I can look at regarding the Sino-Viet and Viet-US normalization processes. I'm finding that there's a lot of articles published in the immediate aftermath, but haven't been able to find much (objective) information that discusses the normalization process: what initiated it, how were the negotiations carried out, what were the stipulations, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you in advance!

best,

Kim Nguyen

The Indochina Center of U.C. Berkeley has about eight office-sized file cabinet drawers on China-Vietnam relations concentrated on the period of 1975-1999. It can be visited by arrangement. Most of the material is FBIS and JPRS translations.
