Subject: Standard textbooks/texts used?
I am interested to find out the sense of the VSG on the most common texts used when teaching, at University level in the US, UK and elsewhere, about events in Vietnam in the rough period 1975-86, with reference to pre-1975.

You know, I think a lot of people rely on Vietnamese novels, such as those by Bao Ninh or Le Luu. Another good source is to have students read all of Duong Mai Elliott's memoir. Here a few things I have used, drawn inspiration from, or sought references in. Best, David
