Subject: Trinh Cong Son website
Hi--
I thought some of you might like to know about this website, which was timed to start operation around TCS's ngay gio, April 1st. A group of friends in France and the US, connected by internet, set it up. I'm including an explanatory note I received, along with an invitation to share your contributions and opinions.

It's a bit difficult to surf it to find things in English, so I enclosed those direct links:
1/ http://www.tcs-forum.org/songs/titles/zongs-intl : Translated version of
songs (some)
This link can also be found as followings: left column; " Nhac" ; " Bai Hat"; " Ban dich" ( scroll down way at the end)
Then the Vietnamese version can be found by scrolling back up to " Bai Hat".
The songs are listed alphabetically.
2/ http://www.tcs-forum.org/Members/ctp/News_Item.2004-03-27.1022
This link gets to the memoirs from Sam Thuong about TCS (ST is one of TCS's closest friend), Part One.
There is an English version for this one.
I did do a bit of translation in there. So let me know what you think. And we are of course interested in what your friends [that is, VSG (df)] would think of the site too. If they care to share their opinions in the " contact " section (to the webmaster), that would be great, as we are still constructing this site, and have a lot to learn still.
Hope you will enjoy the site.

Hi,
I wonder whether you know about Tinh Mahoney who left VN at 2 and has been playing with some big names in folk music. He recorded a double album of Trinh Cong Son with translations recently. Sings with a Phan Thiet accent, rather raw, unadorned voice.
