Last year, the Vietnamese American NGOs (VA NGOs) had a national conference in California to discuss the need to coordinate their programs in Vietnam. They have produced a Directory of VA NGOs and are working on another conference to be held later this year.

Dear List,
I would like to introduce one more non-profit organization helping education and library services for Vietnam, the Library and Education Assistance Foundation for Vietnam (LEAF-VN) http://www.leaf-vn.org.
Last July 2004 we organized three library workshops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. We are in the process of posting photos of these workshops in our website. We are now planning on our library forum for October 2005 in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
