A Simple Formula for IEC in Kinh Populations from "Effective Information, Education and Communication (IEC) in Vietnam"
The literature review has identified a basic (or triangle) formula
for the strategic approach of IEC in Vietnam. This formula uses a
combination of at least one of each of three key elements: mass medium; face
to face communication and; print material such as leaflets and
brochures. In addition the Gformula can be supported, when available, by at
least one opportunistic IEC activity such as a health day or competition.
The application of this formula is designed to place an emphasis on
those elements that have the most influence in any particular population
group.
