Consultations
The Reference and Research Services Division offers individual research
consultations to faculty and students of the University of Washington.
Faculty Consultations
Faculty should contact their subject librarian for consultations. These
consultations can include an introduction to the University Libraries, discussion
of particular library assignments, an introduction to databases and the
internet amongst other things. If you do not know your subject librarian
check the list of
subject librarians.
Students
UW students can request an appointment with a reference librarian at the reference desk, by contacting a subject librarian or using an
online request form. Librarians can go over library sources (both electronic and print) which will be useful for your research, provide a general introduction to the University Libraries and provide help on using library databases and the internet.
