Student Employment in the Libraries

The University of Washington Libraries employ UW students on an hourly basis in positions that are challenging and responsible, at convenient campus locations, with flexible work schedules for both the Academic Year and Summer Quarter.

Positions are available weekday mornings from 7 a.m.; afternoon and evenings through 12 midnight; and weekends. Hours of work are scheduled for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. Positions available at various levels, beginning with Student Assistant I.

Students interested in applying for positions with the UW Libraries should consult the job vacancies posted outside the Libraries Administrative Office, 482 Allen Library. Job positions are posted as they become available. UW students interested in hourly employment at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library and the Health Sciences Library and Information Center may also inquire directly at these libraries for possible job opportunities.
