Rate:

$15.60 per hour

Hours:

10 hours per week.
Hours Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Duties:

Assist in the daily operations of the Government Publications section of the Acquisitions and Rapid Cataloging Services (ARCS) division, Suzzallo Library.
  • Sorting, unpacking, and processing of incoming government publications; other acquisitions and general office duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to type/key quickly and accurately.
    • Able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
    • Able to lift 45-pound boxes.
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Prior library work experience.
    • Experience with library databases such as Ex Libris Alma and OCLC.
    • Available to work at least two or more quarters, including summers.
    Other Job Details:
    • Excellent opportunity to gain experience in the academic library technical services/acquisitions field.
