$13.60 per hour

Hours:

10-12 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule to be determined. Approximately 15 hours per week available during the summer.

Duties:

  • Input financial data into the Libraries invoice processing system, work with Excel spreadsheets and various database systems
  • Provide support by scanning documents and filing electronic invoices
  • On-line file maintenance for department financial records including travel records and room rental data
  • Reconcile credit cards and invoices, daily, matching invoice number, date, vendor name, dollar amount and taxes.
  • Pick up mail daily, supplies and shredding as needed
  • Work on special projects as required

     

    Required Qualifications:

     

    • Experience with Windows XP and Excel software
    • Aptititude and willingness to learn new software applications
    • Experience in data entry/keyboarding and using 10 key, preferably by touch
    • Detail-oriented and accurate
    • Able to communicate precisely, both verbally and in writing
    • Available to work for at least 1 year
    • Excellent attendance

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with or knowledge of accounting or financial reconciliation

    Other Details:

    The Financial Services office is comprised of four staff members and we work with the Libraries Purchasing and Supplies office. This position is conveniently located in the Suzzallo Library.
