Rate:

$9.70 per hour

Hours:

10-12 hours per week, Monday through Friday, preferably in the morning

Duties:

  • Input financial data into Libraries Invoice Processing system, work with Excel spreadsheets and various database systems
  • Provide support by scanning documents, filing electronic invoices, and posting monthly financial reports on department webpage
  • Obtain quarterly interest figures from the University's financial budget system to enter into the Libraries Innovative Millennium system
  • Reconcile pro-cards and identified budget invoices
  • Assist with maintenance of staff travel records
  • Work on special projects as required

     

    Required Qualifications:

     

    • Experience with Windows XP and Excel software
    • Willing to learn new software applications
    • Experience in data entry/keyboarding and using 10 key, preferably by touch
    • Detail-oriented and accurate
    • Able to communicate precisely, both verbally and in writing
    • Available to work for at least 1 year
    • Excellent attendance

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with or knowledge of accounting or financial reconciliation

    This position is conveniently located in the Suzzallo Library.
