Rate:

$15.60 per hour

Hours:

  • 10 - 19.5 hours/week.  Temporary -- ends on or before June 30, 2017.  Approximately 150 hours total.
  • Adjustable hourly schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • No weekends or evenings.

Duties:

  • Provide support for special projects.
  • Perform bibliographic and holdings searches in online systems.
  • Work with books, serials, media, ephemera, and other materials in a wide range of languages.
  • Proofread correspondence and other documents in English.
  • Filing and file management.
  • General office support.

    Required Qualifications:

      • Ability to lift boxes of materials weighing up to 45 pounds, push loaded booktrucks, and reset shelving.
      • Ability to accurately proofread correspondence and documents in English.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and have good communication skills.

        Desired Qualifications:

        • Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
        • Interest in library collection development.
        Other Job Details:
        • Work may aggravate dust and mold allergies.
