10 hours per week, Monday - Friday

  • Performs varied administrative support tasks, such as editing, copying and putting together promotional materials
  • Supports and participates in Librarian lead instruction
  • Performs web page design and support, such as updating LibGuides
  • Provides routine reference and search support
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to perform reference service and work effectively with a diverse group of library users
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a commitment to service
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Successful completion of one or more courses in library reference service or courses relating to instruction, or comparable experience in teaching or training or providing library reference service

Desired Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as a graduate student in the UW Information School preferred
  • Coursework in reference and library experience desirable
