Area Specification and Description, Equipment and Hours:

Room 102 is located at the West Entrance of the Suzzallo Library off of Red Square. The Suzzallo and Allen Libraries are visited by 1.4 million people a year.

The room is approximately 2500 square feet. There are six stained glass windows with shades along the west wall. Room is illuminated with overhead lamps.

There are four free standing exhibit case sizes for use in this room. Please note that not all cases are avialable at all times. Please discuss availability with Contact.

1) 8 Horizontal flat cases, interior approximately 8" H x 70" W x 28" D.
2) 8 Rectangular standing cases on wheels, 59" D x 49" W x 16" D. Interior lighting (optional), adjustable/removable shelves, all walls glass, mirrored floor.
3) 3 Hexagonal standing cases on wheels, 59" H x 20 1/2" W x 10 1/4" D. Interior lighting (optional), adjustable/removable shelves, all walls glass, mirrored floor.
4) 2 Octagonal standing cases on wheels, 59" H x 13" W x 5 3/4" D. Interior lighting (optional), adjustable/removable shelves, all walls glass, mirrored floor.

Acrylic supports available for use in cases. Discuss further details on sizes and quantities with Contact person.

Materials may not be hung on walls, and the Donor Wall (north wall) may not be obstructed. The doorways to the Suzzallo Instruction Room must remain unobstructed and accessible. Additionally, for proper egress and handicapped access, there must be a direct accessible pathway of at least 36" wide between the main entrance of the room to the archway leading to Suzzallo Reference and Children's Literature.

Room is open during regular Suzzallo/Allen Library Operational hours.

Special Conditions:

Not climate controlled

No adhesives allowed on case walls, glass doors, or on exhibit supports.

The Libraries takes no responsibility for the security or welfare of exhibits at any time, including during transport, installation, or dismantling. Before and exbibit is installed, exhibitors must sign an Exhibit Release Form indemnifying the UW from any responsibility for loss or damage.
