Area Specification and Description, Equipment and Hours:

The display wall on the second floor of OUGL is illuminated by display lights and painted white. It is broken into three sections, separated by the doors to study rooms. Two walls measure 8'high and 12'long, and one wall measures 8' high and 6.5' long. The second floor of Odegaard Library houses the learning commons, which includes 350 computers and a reference/help desk. Surveys have shown that 40% of people entering this library use the learning commons so the display wall reaches a large audience. It is also highly visible to anyone using the central staircase.
