View selected covers from 1970-1980 from the Polish jazz magazine, “Jazz Forum” by Rafal Oblinski, who spent ten years in Warsaw working as an art director for the magazine. Born in Kielce, Poland in1945, Olbiński was in New York when martial law was declared in Poland on December 13, 1981, and decided to stay in New York. View selected covers from 1970-1980 from the Polish jazz magazine, “Jazz Forum” by Rafal Oblinski, who spent ten years in Warsaw working as an art director for the magazine. Born in Kielce, Poland in1945, Olbiński traveled to New York for an exhibit of his posters in 1981. When martial law was declared in Poland on December 13, 1981, he decided to stay in New York.  His paintings and illustrations have been featured on the covers of Psychology Today, Time, and in the New York Times.
