Vintage political cartoons reflect on turbulent time in history
CityStream: Political Cartoons Exhibit
8/23/20185:08

For centuries, cartoonists have used their pens to poke fun at authority. Howard Fisher did it for decades at the now defunct Oregon Journal. His collection, plus the works of many others, are on display at the UW's Allen Library. Some of the artwork dates back decades and offers blistering attacks on prominent politicians, much the same as cartoons today.  Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist David Horsey offers his perspective on the exhibit. And exclusive to the Seattle Channel, Horsey draws a custom cartoon offering his take on the current commander in chief. Brian Callanan takes a look.
