WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As you can tell from the photographs of the earthquake, the University Libraries suffered significant damage to its collections. Not only did bookshelves twist and collapse, but tens of thousands of books were thrown to the floor. Many covers were torn, pages ripped, bindings twisted, making these resources unusable.
The Libraries needs funds for earthquake recovery. If you would like to help with this effort, send your check, made payable to the University of Washington Foundation, to:
