ACRL Washington State Chapter Board 
Position Description: 
Immediate Past President

Requirements:  

The Immediate Past-President must be a member of the Washington State Chapter of ACRL.

Terms:

The Immediate Past-President shall serve a one-year term, which begins following the spring board meeting. A vacancy in the Immediate Past-President position on the Board will not be filled.

Duties:

1. The Immediate Past-President shall serve as a voting member on the Board of Directors.

1. The Immediate Past-President will chair the Nominating Committee for the annual elections.

1. At the end of his/her term the Immediate Past-President shall turn over his/her records to the President.

Deadlines:

As Chair of the Nominating Committee:

January 31 st : Present the slate of candidates to the Board for approval.

February 15 th : Announce slate of candidates to the membership.

March 1 st : Ensure ballots have been sent to chapter members and returned 21 days after being sent.
