Foster Business Library

Foster Business Library Computer Workstations

The Foster Business Library provides over fifty computer workstations, located in five different areas on the library's two floors:

  • Access + computers (which require a UW Net ID and offer Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Public workstations, which do not require a UW Net Id nor offer word processing but do include Word and Excel readers (so that documents may be printed)
  • Specialized computers, one limited to Bloomberg data and one computer with four non-networkable CD-ROM databases.

Foster Business Library workstations are either standup workstations, without seating, or workstations with seating. Most of the library's workstations are with seating.

As of today, none of the library's computer workstations are out of order.

Please report malfunctioning computer workstations to library staff at the reference or circulation desks in the Foster Business Library, for reporting to Catalyst (for Access + machines) or to the library's computer expert (for public and specialized computers).
