Teaching support

The Foster Library collaborates with Foster School of Business instructors through class instruction sessions, assignment development, and providing access to curricular materials that align with course objectives.

Class instruction

Librarian instruction sessions are tailored to your class assignments and course learning objectives.

Workshop (recommended) - 50-minute session that engages students with an overview of relevant library resources, paired with an interactive class activity.

Orientation - 20-minute introduction to relevant library resources.

Course materials

  • Course reserves - Make your course materials accessible for students to study at the Foster Library. We accept UW Libraries books, media materials, and personal copies.
  • Sage Business Cases spans topics in management, marketing, accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship. Often accompanied by instructor teaching notes, these cases are free for unlimited use in your classes.
  • Sage Video: Business & Management offers video interviews, lectures, case studies, and tutorials on business strategies and topics. These videos are free for unlimited use in your classes.
