Team Librarian Consultations

The Foster Business Library offers consultations to Business School students engaged in team research projects. During a consultation, a librarian meets with the group to discuss research strategies and suggest resources for the project. Sessions can be tailored to meet the group's needs. Follow-up is available after the initial consultation.

Scheduling

 You may schedule a consultation by one of the following methods:
  • Stop by the Foster Business Library Reference Desk and fill out a request form.
  • Download a Word version of the request form and turn it in at the Foster Business Library Reference Desk. (Right-click on the download link and select "Save Link As. . . or Save Target As . . . .")
  • Fill out a request form online.
Consultations may be scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 4PM.

Please fill out the form as completely as possible. After turning in the form, your team will be contacted by a librarian within 48 hours to schedule a consultation. If possible, please include a copy of your research assignment with your request form.

Who May Use the Service

 Business School students from the Seattle campus, who are working on a team project. A team consists of two or more students.

UW Seattle students from outside the Business School, who are working on business-related team projects.

UW Libraries Consultation Services

 The UW Libraries offers research consultations to faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and returning/transfer students in subject areas other than business. UW Seattle Business School students may schedule a Team Librarian Consultation online.
