In order to meet a $1.6 million reduction to the University Libraries information resources annual base budget, in Spring 2009 librarian liaisons, conferring with their academic departments or programs, undertook a comprehensive review of our serial subscriptions (including print and electronic journals, databases, and microforms). This process resulted in the identification of many titles for cancellation, and we solicited comments from the UW community to aid us in our decision-making. The comment period is now ended; please watch this space for updates concerning final cancellations.
