From the Vice Provost for Digital Initiatives and Dean of University Libraries
I truly am honored by my recent appointment by Provost Ana Mari Cauce as Vice Provost for Digital Initiatives.
The Libraries has long been at the forefront of digital scholarship, a trend that continues with this appointment. I will be called to provide leadership in a number of areas, including
- Development of an overall university strategy on digital issues in a wide variety of areas, including open access and open science (propelled by the Obama Administration memorandum on public access to the results of federally funded research and data) (more)
