Cyndi Asmus

Cyndi Asmus has served as the University Libraries Director for Advancement since 2003. Prior to assuming this position, she served four years as the first Director of Development for UW Bothell. Although a native of the NW, she lived in Pennsylvania for many years where she was introduced to the art and science of fundraising first as Director of the State College Area YMCA for more than 8 years and then as assistant director of development for The Pennsylvania State University Library.

The Advancement Team works with Libraries staff to bring private gifts and community awareness to support the Libraries’ mission and strategic goals.

Cyndi holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Health from the University of Oregon and a M.A. in Environmental Education/Recreation from Indiana University.
