 JAPANESE CHARACTER SET (IME – Input Method Editor)

For the installation of the Japanese character set on your Windows machine, follow these steps:

      1.    Go to START (bottom-left corner)

      2.    Choose SETTINGS

      3.    Choose CONTROL PANEL

      4.    Choose REGIONAL AND LANGUAGES OPTION

      5.    Choose JAPANESE and click OK

If you own an older version of a Windows machine which does not have the Japanese character set available (in step 5), you can download IME from the Microsoft website (you can locate the IME download page by typing keywords “IMA” and “download” in the Search window).
