Trademark Classes
The USPTO subscribes to an international classification system for
trademarks. Under this system, a trademark is registered only in the
specific class that covers that particular product or service. This is a quick
overview of the 42 classes. For more detailed descriptions, consult the Acceptable Identification of
Goods & Services Manual available in the Patent Research Area.
