out materials. The Library Cashier (206 543-1174) in Suzzallo Library can
provide information on borrowing for persons not affiliated with the University.
All material in the Fisheries-Oceanography Library is available for on-site
use by the general public. See the UW Libraries Home Page for

The services marked Borrower's Card Required are available only to
those with a valid UW borrower's card.

Library use only materials may circulate for"quick copy" only, which is two
hours, no overnight check-out.

Items may be renewed at any UW library or on the UW Libraries Information Gateway. If a hold has been placed on a book
or journal, it may not be renewed. Items that have been renewed the maximum
number of times should be brought in to any UW library to be checked in.
You may then check these items out again.

A hold can be placed on an item at any UW library on on the UW Libraries Information Gateway.. A hold placed on a quarter
charge item may result in a due date change. Borrowers are guaranteed to
have a book for a minimum of two weeks.

Staff will place a search on any item which cannot be found. You will be
notified when the item is found.

Library materials may be returned to any UW library. Reserve materials must
be returned to the reserve desk where they were checked out. A book drop
is located outside the building entrance for after-hours use.
