Summit Statuses
It is possible to track your requests in Summit but currently you need to use your Summit Account (click on the "Proxied Insitutional Sign On" link, select "University of Washington" from the pulldown menu and then login with your UWNetID) and Your Library Account to track the progress of your request as it moves from one system to the other. The best course of action now is to check that the item has shipped in the Summit catalog and then wait until you receive a notice that the item has arrived a the pickup location that you specified.
Statuses in the Summit Account
- New - shows immediately after a request has been placed
- Pending - hold placed at lender, awaiting yes or no
- Shipped - lender can supply and is sending
- Received - received at the UW Libraries - may still need 2-3 days processing
- Returned - sent back to lender
Statuses for Summit material in Your Library Account
- Available - temp record has been created
- In transit - book is on its way to the pickup location
- Ready for pickup - a notice has been sent to the requester and the material is ready for checkout
- "due date" - item is checked out and due on the date shown
