Crisis Support for Republic of Georgia is provided by the Topographic Engineering Center (US Army Corps of Engineers) to support humanitarian operations. Publicly accessible information (use the lefthand toolbar to access) include maps, regional information, and earth science resources.

King County iMAP has added 1936 aerial photos for portions of Seattle to this interactive map which provides several current-day property and environmental data layers. Skagit County GIS provides aerial imagery from 1937 in a single downloadable file (MrSID format, 117MB).

Bird's Eye View of a Refugee's World - Google has partnered with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide a virtual reality tour of refugee living conditions in in remote areas of Chad, Iraq, Colombia and Sudan's volatile Darfur region. Global mapping, photographs, text and video provide insights into what life is like for these displaced people.

Election Guide 2008 - The NYTimes provides maps showing Democratic and Republican delegate tallies. The Campaign Finance interactive map displays Federal Election Commission data on fund raising totals (weekly and monthly) for all Presidential candidates. Search for individual contributors by zip code.
