Under the mission statement To Inform and Serve, this site provides information on the criminal justice system in hopes that a more informed public will be able to improve it. This site provides in-depth coverage of the Columbine High tragedy, as well as extensive coverage on the violence that plagues American schools.

Center for the Prevention of School Violence: Established in 1993, the Center focuses on ensuring that schools are safe and conductive to learning. The site serves as a resource for information about and program assistance for the prevention of school violence.

College and University Campus Crime Statistics

Injuries in the School Environment: Published in April 1997, this document continues to serve as a resource guide for understanding school violence and for finding possible solutions.

National Alliance for Safe Schools This site promotes NASS and it's central goal of making our schools safe and orderly educational environments.

The National Center for Victims of Crime: This site provides strategies for staying safe, information on laws and public policies, how victims can receive civil justice, and links to other WWW sites. A virtual library provides crime statistics, book reviews, links to on-line publications and other reference sources. Violence Policy Center: This non-profit organization strives to fight firearms violence through research, education and advocacy. Site provides the latest information on firearms litigation, a study about kids and America's gun culture, and information on the guns reportedly used in Littleton, CO.
