The Libraries' Media Center develops and provides access to the University of Washington's main collection of audiovisual materials. Consisting of over 30,000 items in a variety of analog and digital formats (LPs, DVDs, CDs, VHS), its collections cover a broad and interdisciplinary range of subjects and genres.
Media materials can be checked out and accessed outside of the Libraries, or screened on the Media Center's own multi-region playback equipment. The Media Center, which is located on the Mezzanine level of the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, also supports the curricular needs of the UW by offering media reserve services for instructors and their students.
