Title

The name given to the resource by the "Creator" or "Publisher". If no specific title is given, default to generic title (Woody).[This field is displayed with thumbnail images, for which a title is necessary.]

Subject

Subject

The topic of the resource, or keywords or phrases that describe the subject or content of the resource. The intent of the specification of this element is to promote the use of controlled vocabularies and keywords.

Creator

Creator

The person(s) (scientist) or organization(s) primarily responsible for the intellectual content of the resource. Format: Last Name, First Name.

Mission

Creator

Mission from which resource is derived.

Contributors

Contributor

Of minimal use. Person(s) or organization(s) in addition to those specified in the "Creator" element who have made significant intellectual contributions to the resource but whose contribution is secondary to the individuals or entities specified in the "Creator" element.

Description

Description

A textual description of the content of the resource, including abstracts (for text) or content descriptions (for images).

Ambiguous. Once we have some examples we'll see if this is appropriate, how much detail we want to use, etc.

Event date

The date of the event represented in the original resource. Format: YYYY-MM-DD.

Publication date

The date the resource (slide) was made available. Format: YYYY-MM-DD.

Publisher

Publisher

The entity responsible for making the resource available in its present form (slides), such as a publisher, a university department, or a corporate entity.

Format

Resource Type

The category of the resource, such as photograph, drawing, painting, article, chart, etc.

Slide Number

Resource Identifier

Number used to uniquely identify the resource (slides to be numbered during scanning process). Format: AXXX.JPG, BXXX.JPG, CXXX.JPG, etc. ALL CAPS.
