Reference desk hours are 10:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm Monday through Friday while classes are in session. At other times contact musiclib@u.washington.edu , call 543-1159 or 543-1168, or consult the staff at the circulation desk for assistance.

For Faculty Course-Related Instruction

The UW Libraries provide a number of services to teaching faculty interested in integrating library instruction into classes. Librarians are available by appointment to:
  • Conduct sessions on how to find, select and evaluate information resources specially tailored to a class assignment.
  • Provide demonstrations of electronic resources including the Internet.
  • Create web pages and bibliographies of pertinent research sites and tools.
  • Conduct group orientation sessions.
