The Northwest Archivists, Inc. is a regional association of professional archivists,
users of archives, and others interested in the preservation and use of archival
materials in the Pacific Northwest United States, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana,
Oregon, and Washington. The organization holds a general meeting once a year
with a program to enhance professional development and networking among archivists
throughout the region.

- Committee appointments are made by the President and allow the membership to actively participate in the association's business. NWA committees consist of both standing and special-purpose groups that facilitate the association activities. All members are encouraged to volunteer their services.
