Odegaard Undergraduate Library and Learning CommonsThis lively and dynamic environment serves as the center for undergraduate instruction, learning, and technology. The library opened in 1972, is named after University of Washington President Emeritus Charles E. Odegaard. The library is currently undergoing Phase 1 of renovation, and the 1st floor is closed until Fall Quarter 2013. To new students the University of Washington library system can seem overwhelming.
