Odegaard Collections

The Odegaard Undergraduate Library (OUGL) collection supports the undergraduate curriculum at the University of Washington, particularly in the College of Arts and Sciences. The foundation for the OUGL collection was patterned after that of a four-year liberal arts college providing basic works in all fields of study, with emphasis on the humanities and social sciences. Active selection develops the collection to provide for the broad study, information needs, and cultural interests of undergraduate students. The more specialized needs of undergraduate students are met by referral to other collections in the UW Libraries.
