Book Collection
The 165,000 volume interdisciplinary collection emphasizes easy access to titles which support curriculum study at the University of Washington. Books are acquired that provide for the broad study, informational, and cultural interests and needs of undergraduate students. Although primarily intended for undergraduates, the collection is useful to graduate students, faculty, and staff who need general materials outside their area of specialization. The collection can also benefit users from the larger Seattle metropolitan community seeking general information sources.
The collection is arranged in all classes of the Library of Congress Classification format and housed on the first and third floors of the library.
