Student Directed Course Reserves Pilot

A pilot allowing students to request required textbooks for placement on reserve.

This is your library. Help us make it your course reserves shelf!

As a pilot we are now accepting requests from students to place on reserve books required for a course.

Requested books must be designated as "required" in the course syllabus or identified by the course instructor as primary for completion of course work. Requested titles may not include supplemental readings or books recommended for course research projects or "further reading."

We believe there is no better way to have a reserves shelf that is relevant and useful than to have it guided by those who will use it. Using data from this pilot we hope to determine if the demand for this service is significant enough to gain regular funding.
