first floor west display cases

Nature photographs enhanced with digital technology are on display in OUGL in the first floor west photo display cases until October 31. The show is titled Natural Light and was created by Rick Ells, Senior Computing Specialist at UW Computing & Communications. The skill of the photographer and the fine work of digital enhancement bring out textures and colors so clearly that you can almost feel the thistle down of the baby rabbit's fur, the searing cold of the mountains, and the dense emerald green moss on old trees. Library staff are very welcome to come to OUGL to see the photographs and leave their comments for the artist.
