Digital materials are currently hosted on a number of different systems across the libraries and managed by different units—Preservation works with all parts of the Libraries in order to better ensure persistent access to this wide range of materials, regardless of the challenges of media failure and technological change.

The Preservation LibGuide has more resources if you are interested in learning more about digital preservation.

Please see our current digital preservation policy and our list of recommended file formats—because remember: for digital materials, preservation starts at creation!
