UW Libraries' new Online Workshop Series offers multiple opportunities for students to learn new techniques for academic success without ever having to come onto campus. Effective Literature Review

September 8-12, 2014

This activity-based workshop will help you build effective techniques for preparing literature reviews and increase your confidence in gathering literature for any significant research project. By asking students to share experiences with one another, this workshop provides the space and opportunity for you to reflect on your skills and to see how various techniques and tools can be employed to help you find and organize sources.

Time Commitment: Approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour per day, for 5 straight days
Target audience: Upper division undergraduates; early stage graduate students (e.g. MA or PhD-seeking)
Prerequisites: Access to the internet for each of the 5 days identified. A valid UW NetID is also required.
Enrollment Deadline: Friday, September 5, 2014.
