  • If in doubt ask to look at the red volumes
  • If you find a book you like, look at the subject headings for ideas on how to refine your search
  • Some useful tips:
    • Southeast Asia is not used.  Use: Asia Southeastern
    • The American War in Viet Nam is now called:  Vietnam War, 1961-1975
      • Press coverage
      • Personal narratives
      • Music and the conflict  etc.
    • For minorities, use Ethnology, or Minorities
